The museums, housed in the sumptuous architectural ensemble formed by the 13th-century synodal palace and the Henry II and Francis I wings of the archiepiscopal palace, are adjacent to the cathedral. the museums, housed in the sumptuous architectural complex adjoining the cathedral, the 13th-century synodal palace and the archiepiscopal palace with its Henry II and François I wings, contain collections of exceptional interest: the Cathedral Treasury, one of the first two in France, with its rare antique fabrics, ivories, goldsmith's and silversmith's pieces, tapestries; the archaeological collections, including the fabulous Villethierry Treasury and its 867 bronze jewels; the Gallo-Roman collections with an astonishing collection of funerary stelae, mosaics, sculptures and the reconstruction of the majestic façade of the baths; the medieval collections, etc. The important L. and F. Marrey collection offers visitors works from the 19th and 20th centuries (bronzes by Rodin, ironwork by Raymond Subes, ceramics by Mayodon, paintings by Boudin, Marquet, etc.) and Flemish and Dutch paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries (Brueghel, Grimer, etc.). The Museums of Sens welcome you every day (except Tuesday) from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 6.30pm. The sanitary pass is required at the entrance of the temporary and permanent exhibitions. Respect for barrier measures and the sanitary protocol in force.
