Centre d'interprétation du Muséoparc Alésia


Relive history life-size at theMuséoParc Alésia! The Interpretive Centre offers a real immersion in history: theconquest of Gaul by the Romans, the siege of Alésia in 52 B.C.,Caesar against Vercingetorix...You'll find: - A fully-designed circuit with ancient and facsimile objects, a diorama, films, models, interactive terminals and reconstructions of war machines - A reconstruction of Roman fortification lines... « From Asterix to Alésia » - between myth and reality. Centre Eden, Education-Découverte-Nature


This centre for the study of biodiversity is devoted to disseminating knowledge on natural habitats to both schoolchildren and the general public. The museum is composed of five rooms with distinct themes: the earth, environmental indices, air, water and an audiovisual display with a relief map of Burgundy. The exhibit has been designed on the basis of an interactive exploration of flora and fauna, as well as of the functioning of ecosystems. The landscaped grounds provide a nice setting to conclude the visit and a planetarium.

Château d'epiry


At the Château d'Epiry, two stone lions guard the entrance gate, which is approached from a bridge. Four 12th-century round towers overlook the main building, which dates from the 15th century onwards. The few mullion windows contrast with the many richly-carved windows on the courtyard side. It was here that Roger de Rabutin, a satirical writer and the cousin of Madame de Sévigné, the 17th century's best-known diarist, was born in 1618.Pelouses et buis, bassin au centre, petite serre et deux pavillons.
